You're celebrated!

Do you have pictures of your kids scattered around your house? Have you ever stopped someone in an elevator to pull out photos of your grandkids from your wallet and tell them about each one along with their age and favorite hobby?

We do these things because we cherish our children and grandchildren. They're precious to us, and we want to celebrate them with anyone and everyone who will listen.

Well, did you know that God celebrates you just like that?

In his book, Prayer: A Heavenly Invitation, Max Lucado writes…

"If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning... Face it, friend. He is crazy about you!"

That's God's heart for you. Too often we approach Him like He just puts up with us, as though we're a burden He reluctantly carries. But the truth is that your heavenly Father delights in you!

Let that truth fill you with joy today. The God of the universe rejoices over you like a dad celebrates his kids!
